Miss Andrea was born and raised in St. Augustine, FL. She danced and sang with the flagship Showtime U.S.A. from her elementary years until she was 17 years old; participating in a variety of technique, ballet, tap, jazz, and advanced classes. Miss Andrea received her Bachelors of Science from Brigham Young University in Marriage, Family, and Human Development in 2002. While a student there, she also minored in dance and took a variety of dance classes.
She has never lost her love of dance and she continues to cherish the friendships she formed through Showtime. Miss Andrea believes that dance class should focus on fun and not on competition. She believes everyone can and should dance and sing as long as they love doing it.
Additionally, Miss Andrea earned a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Central Florida in 2005 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She worked many years providing counseling to children and families in the Central Florida area.
When she isn’t working on creating a fun experience for her Showtime students, Miss Andrea is at home working on raising her five beautiful children alongside her husband, Mr. Jared. On the rare occasion when she can sit down and relax, you’ll find her with a good book or watching reruns of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Parks and Recreation.
